Terms of Service
1. The Service
SENTENCE (the "Service") is an iOS app, provided by 최은성 (the "Operator"), for leaving one sentence a day and reading the sentences of others. These terms apply to everyone who uses it.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 14 years old.
- You sign up with Sign in with Apple. One account is for one person.
- Don't impersonate others or use a misleading nickname.
3. Your sentences and attachments
- You can post one sentence per day (in your time zone). Sentences can't be edited, and deleting one doesn't give you another try that day.
- You keep the rights to what you post. You grant the Operator a free license to store, display, and transmit it within the Service according to the visibility you choose, and to translate it when someone asks. The license ends when you delete the content or your account.
- Don't post anything that infringes others' rights, including copyright, likeness, or privacy.
4. Prohibited conduct
Please follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, don't post or do:
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or incitement to violence
- Sexual content, or any content that sexualizes minors
- Spam, advertising, or scams
- Sharing others' personal information
- Disrupting the Service or accessing it by automated means
- Anything illegal
5. Moderation
- You can report any sentence or block any user at any time. A sentence reported by three or more different people is hidden automatically while it's reviewed.
- The Operator may hide or remove content that breaks these terms or the guidelines, and may restrict accounts for repeated or serious violations.
6. Translation
Translations are produced by AI (Anthropic's Claude) when you tap the button, and may be inaccurate. Translations are labeled as such. Daily use may be limited.
7. Deleting your account; changes to the Service
- You can delete your account in the app at any time. Everything you've posted is deleted and can't be restored.
- The Operator may change or discontinue parts of the Service and will give advance notice of significant changes.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided as is. Except for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator isn't liable for content posted by users, disputes between users, or interruptions beyond its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be resolved by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
10. Changes and contact
We'll announce changes at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that affect you adversely). Contact: support@sentence.today
